Unless the predictions are wildly off, this Thursday will see three weeks of snow in Durham. Today’s ‘Five…‘ is photography. At the end of 2008 I bought a DSLR off one of my very best friends, @pirateboots, who decided I would make better use of it than she would. It is a beautiful snowy day and as I finished work yesterday I decided to go on a wander with my camera this morning. I love snow! Snow at Christmas is even better!!!

It’s been seven months, one week and four days since I moved to Durham. Going back to London I realised how much I miss having some of my best friends on my doorstep, but I don’t miss living in London, after all it’s only three hours away on the train. If only I could move my friends up here.

There is no excuse! I have taken a three-month break from a blog I started four and half months ago. Even worse the thing that has finally got me blogging again is that I have an unplanned free weekend after I had a rather spectacular engagement with a pavement (there was blood, now there is pain).
