I have to say I find it difficult to not do exercise every day if I'm doing it because I'm scared if I stop for 24 hours I'll give up completely... maybe I'll do something gentle one day a week like go for a long walk. I seem to have a weird obsessive tendency of all or nothing, probably not the healthiest attitude!

I'm really struggling with exercise at the moment too. I have to force myself to go out at lunchtime when I'm at work - its the initial getting up and going outside. As soon as I'm outside the building and halfway into Halifax I'm feeling better about it already.

Getting up at stupid o'clock in the morning and going out for a walk/jog first thing when its rather chilly and motorists give me strange, funny looks is even less appealing.

Still, I'm determined to stick with it because I know I'm getting positive results.

Interesting about the forgetting to go outside comment at the weekends - I've done that so many times its scary. I get to Sunday night and think to myself "You know, I haven't left the house this weekend".

Look after your knee, the last thing you want to do is agaravate it.

I've had gym memberships before, the last one in a gym that shared the car park with work, easiest thing in the world, but I hated the time it took out of my day along with the whole communal changing rooms/shower cubicle setups. Plus there was a personal trainer who also happened to be a manager that was a complete and utter a*se who didn't understand why people couldn't take care of their bodies. Way to go motivate people, huh?

Make sure you don't overdo it with the exercise - its not great to work out everyday because your muscles don't get a chance to repair and rebuild.
